Are posts being pulled?

I've ordered a model S as of may this year, and i hear several people talk about a privat part of this forum. (I can not see that part and if i try to follow a link there it is forbidden for me, There is however a link to a contact to follow so i can complain about this.... If i push that one it says 404 dead end.... NICE ...

So i complainded to my contact instead, he mailed me back and asked me what i was getting on my screen.... So i wanted to make a screenshot and remembered that the link was in yesterdays complaint about the scratched seats.... And now i cannot find that thread ( i still had it open on my pad, now it gives the 404 deadend thingy....)

Is there a conspiracy againgst me (<-- feeble attempt of humor)
Or are they blocking all the Dutch

Contact and make sure your internet account is set up correctly with your VIN. After that you should be able to log in and see the private posts.

The ripped seats thread has been pulled - the only reason would be if multiple people flagged it, or Tesla chose to pull it because they believed it might not be legitimate.

The ripped seats thread has been pulled...

Awww...that was SO popcorn-worthy.

stevenmaifert | July 17, 2013

The originator can also pull a post. I pulled one recently because the discussion got so far off track with invectives being hurled back and forth between Liberal vs Conservative politics that the original intent of the post was lost.

AmpedRealtor | July 17, 2013

As far as I know, this forum is self-moderated. Members, if they find a particular post or thread objectionable, can click the flag button. After a certain number of flags, I believe the system automatically removes the offending post or thread.

The ripped seats thread most likely was taken down by member complaints because the author of the thread, after being told by multiple forum members that it was due to his own negligence, proceeded to ridicule and belittle forum members who were trying to assist, going so far as to call them names. I did flag the thread as offensive, I don't appreciate being insulted after I've made an attempt to assist someone.

Thanks for the tip!

Hmmmm..... Should i pull this thread now?

ian | July 17, 2013

Also, in case you're not sure you're seeing the private threads, they are marked with a little key shape after the thread title. There are also a whole bunch of region specific forums that you should be able to choose from in the "Forum Home" area.

"There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch"

nickjhowe | July 17, 2013

When I wrote the comment I didn't even spot my own pun. Doh!

bigbit | July 17, 2013

It really was popcorn worthy....

justineet | July 17, 2013

@bigbit.....the OP may have pulled the thread himself after being bombarded with exposing Qs...

HenryT2 | July 17, 2013

Oh, it's definitely being pulled because you're Dutch. We all hate the Dutch here!

BTW, where's Dutch again? Or is it Dutchistan or Dutchland? Dutchia

Bighorn | July 17, 2013

The Dutch never pay for your meal. What's that about?

mjs | July 17, 2013

I know. I was sitting a few tables away from some Dutch people, and they didn't pay for my meal.

Brian H | July 17, 2013

Some fingers being pulled here.

Bighorn | July 17, 2013

Methinks Brian H was just in a "dutch oven"!

Brian H | July 17, 2013

Put a lid on it. Works better.

mrspaghetti | July 17, 2013

I love Dutch culture. I've seen Goldmember at least 5 times.

mrspaghetti | July 17, 2013

And the last time, I watched it with my fazha.

Fred O | July 18, 2013

"The Dutch never pay for your meal. What's that about?"

When you came up with the phrase "Going Dutch" we decided to act that way. I thought that's what you expected from us?

Brian H | July 18, 2013

The Dutch are so women's liberalized they fear disembowellment. With a fork.

carlgo | July 18, 2013

I gave up tilting windmills. When you get up close they are always bigger than you think.

justineet | July 18, 2013

Isn't that where Ganja(grass) legal...the Netherlands?? Maybe I am wrong..someone probably knows.......

mrspaghetti | July 18, 2013

No, you're thinking of Colorado.

tobi_ger | July 18, 2013

Yes, NL citizens can visit so called coffee shops - where you won't get coffee! - to buy and use. Until a little while ago, even non-citizens could do that.

Brian H | July 19, 2013

How many fingers am I holding up?

tobi_ger | July 19, 2013

None while typing, except maybe pinkies. :)

Brian H | July 19, 2013

I'll have you know my pinkies are very busy when I'm typing. I'm a full 10-finger typist, not a hunter-and-pecker. So to speak. >:(

Jolanda | July 19, 2013

Try that on an Ipad.

ebullio | July 19, 2013

For all of you geographically challenged Americans, the Dutch live in the Netherlands aka Holland:

NICE | July 19, 2013

Has anyone else notice that most Tesla thread posts don't stay on topic?

Bighorn | July 19, 2013

Stop changing the subject.
