Bay Area to South Lake Tahoe

Bay Area to South Lake Tahoe

We are considering taking a trip to So Lake Tahoe from Peninsula.
Anyone done this?
Other than a charge in Folsom can you suggest charge spots in So Lake?
Believe there are chargers @ Harvey's. can anyone confirm and advise re usage?

Still Grinning ;-)

I'm also curious - anyone charged in South Lake Tahoe?
Recargo shows that Harvey's has four J-1772 on the third floor of the garage, last checked 9 days ago.
Montbleu seems to have a NEMA 5-20R - I don't have an adapter for that.

I used both chargers at Harvey's and Harrah's 9 days ago.

You will need a Chargepoint access card to use them. They are 30 amp J1772. So don't forget bring your adapter. Free to charge.

NKYTA - Your 5-15 adapter will fit... 3 m/h. Tesla is planning a 5-20 adapter and then you'll get a whopping 4 m/h.

@JKL-thanks! Card on the way

@Kleist- WOOHOO!

Still Grinning ;-)

@ Kleist
Thanks for the adapter info!
Thanks JKL - looks like Harvey's is the way to go.

keep in mind 30 amp J1772 charges provide about 18 mph charge…so you'll be parked there for a bit but it sure beats 120v @ 15 amps (household).

Wondering if anyone has done this trip on MS60?

We were just at Harvey's. I think there were 4 slots available and never saw a vehicle in them in three days.
Did not check but was told that Harrah's (across the street) also has 4. (same owner)
Harvey's chargers are in the public parking space (no charge) on the third floor.

Folsom is very convenient for Hwy 50. Wish there was a SC on the 80 corridor somewhere past
Sacramento. It is a fair detour to get to and from the Folsom SC from 80
