I'm taking delivery of my Model S tonight (!) and driving to Tahoe in 10 days. Does anyone also have experience with driving from the Bay Area (Berkeley) to north Lake Tahoe with a ski/snowboard rack on top and how much the associated aerodynamic drag affects range? I will stop at the Fulsom supercharging station in both directions. Also, I'll be in the Tahoe area for about four days and will likely need to recharge while I'm there. Would an RV park be the best option or are there other options to consider if I'm unable to charge where I'm staying?
