In February I traded, to Tesla, my 2014 MS for a 2017 MX. The MS had the extended service agreement (ESA). During the process I dealt with 6 different Tesla representatives. I would have been better off at Big Jimmy's Car-O-Rama with a 19 year old sales person. I was told by several of the six Tesla reps that no rebate was available on the remaining ESA. The original forms were stored on the My Tesla account which disappeared the night after I traded in. After several months I finally found someone in Tesla with the right form. Filling out the form required some history checks that would have been easier at the trade in, like millage at trade in. The check arrived made out to the wrong person. I cashed it anyway via an app. I did get my money back but it was a long and painful process. At Tesla delivery truly nobody knows anything.
