Feature request - need autopilot/cruise option to automatically adjust maximum speed based on nav speed limit

Can you make an autopilot/cruise option to automatically adjust/set speed above the street speed limit? Let's say ability to set 5mph above or below the nav speed limit?

It's kind of defeating autopilot purpose of having to keep looking at the speed limit sign or nav and manually adjust the cruise maximum speed all the time. Please and thank you!

Automatic speed adjustment will be required for FSD.

But I wouldn't trust the current software to do this automatically.

The speed limit database being used today has many areas with incorrect (too high or too low) or missing speed limit data, especially in locations with recent construction or road changes.

The AP2 hardware/software is not yet reading speed limit signs, forcing the software to rely on the poor speed limit data.

Until the AP software is reading speed limit signs, unless Tesla is using up-to-date speed limit data, it would be risky to allow the software to automatically increase or decrease your speed based on speed limit data that is untrustworthy.

If Tesla implements any changes in the short term, I'd rather they provide a setting to disable automatic speed changes in V9 - and eliminate the false slow downs we're seeing when operating under AP control, when the software incorrectly believes the speed limit has changed.

In the same line of thought, I would like Valet mode to have not just max speed but limit to speed limit. (i.e. don't go 85 in a 30mph zone)
