Financing information

Hi,

I order my Tesla Model S last month and plan to take the financing option for it. In the store they indicated the financing ranges between 1.95% and 3% anyone was able to get the 1.95% financing, if you any advise will be helpful, like term of financing? money down ? etc.

Thanks

Sorry about the typo ordered...

I am about to take delivery and received 1.99% through tesla financing from Wells Fargo on a 60 month term. I put 20% down but I'm not sure that was required to get that rate.

Check out Alliant Credit Union. Lots of posts on this a while back.

You can search the threads using volkerize.com

Alliant Credit Union. 1.49% for 72 months and will lend 95% of MSRP with good credit and payments made by debits from an Alliant account or your own bank account. This is the best deal currently available. Quick and easy to apply and work with. You have to establish an account by making a $10 donation to an approved charity.

For Texans Randolph brooks fedl credit union offers 1.65% for 60 mos with zero down. They can roll in TT&L and take care of all the titling and send the permanent plates to you! I put down absolutely nothing.

I had researched this previous to confirming my P85 order. They offer 100% financing with great rates. Jon was so helpful that we actually bought my wife a new car as well (not a Tesla).

Alliant and PenFed are the easiest to join, IMHO, no matter where you are. Both are under 2% for at least 60 months as I recall.

Used Alliant. 1.49% 72 months. Easiest and best banking experience I've ever had.

Jason Freese at ALLIANT was fantastic! Found him the week before I was scheduled to pick up my car and in only 4 days he was able to get a check in my hands. 1.49% for 72 months - beat my USAA offer so I went with ALLIANT. Jason pulled out all stops to get me my car on time.

Thanks for the information guys... I was just about to sign on the dotted line when I saw this thread. I had loan lined up from Bank of America for 90% of configuration price @ 2.24%-60 months. I now have loan from US Alliance for 95% of the configuration price @ 1.49%-72 months!

By the way, they said the interest will go up starting Feb 26th. Anywhere from 1.74% to 1.99%.

"By the way, they said the interest will go up starting Feb 26th"

Thanks for this info, I close with Alliant Friday @ 1.49%. Makes me almost want to buy another car while this rate is so low.
