Thanks @ccbldg! Great progress. | March 23, 2015

I guess they are serious about this thing.

Didn't you guys hear that the Brotherhood of the Electricians have nothing to do over there? NOT!

Is this the full file. Download was 3.4 Meg. It would be nice to get the full 88 Megabyte file.

Kimscar | March 23, 2015

Oh yeah, thanks for the photo update ccbldg

They are going to need some monster power lines until they get the wind and solar going. Not sure if the space to the left is for solar or more buildings. I understand several suppliers are going to build on site as well so could be a huge complex when in full production!

@EdwardG - that is the first phase for the pilot line and about 20% of the final factory. | March 23, 2015

@ccbldg - Great shot!

Does anyone know if Lithium-Ion batteries require a charge when first made, or are they already charged as part of the chemical process of creation? It would make a significant difference on the amount of power the factory may need.

This is not an 88 Megapixel image lol | March 23, 2015

@Kleist - Thanks for the chart. Makes sense they have to discharge/recharge to test and validate the cell. Perhaps they can re-use the discharge energy by storing it in another battery!

Really good pictures!

Thank you!

It looks so isolated. A rogue aircraft could reach and damage it before the Tesla staff could get any help.

They need air defense stationed nearby.

FelixMendeldog | March 24, 2015

@Remnant how about some of these?

Ja, this version:
