Happy & Frustrated

Got my MS yesterday!! But when the delivery guy left and I wanted to drive I got the error message 'Car needs service - unable to drive'. After reset and power shut off it came back to life but followed by '12v battery power low - car may shut down unexpectedly'.

After several calls with roadside assist they could not help!! Now I am waiting for the service center in Scottsdale to call me Monday.

This is the hardest part - you have a brand new Tesla MS in your garage and you are not able to drive it!! :-(

oh no smack a troll- what a bad situation. I'm with you and hope, they fix it tomorrow! But it's ridiculous. Never heard of this problem

I think this is totally unacceptable for a known issued. Where ia the QC for a 100k car. I'm very disappointed.

Noooo!! That must feel awful. It would almost have been better not to get the car yet, wouldn't it? I feel for you. But rest assured, you'll be on the road in no time and happy to forget about this false start.

Thanks for your compassion. ;-)

Despite the '12v battery power low - car may shut down unexpectedly' error message - I could not resist and took it out for a short trip. I returned without a problem. What a great car - I hope they will check and solve the problem tomorrow.

I will keep you posted.

Didja consider jumping the 12V from an ICE? (The battery posts are behind the nose cone.)
