I'm not a Tesla user.... Yet!! I don't live in a country where Teslas are sold nor could I afford one at this time, but I soooo want one and generally like the CEO and I love the company.
Been thinking about the quick charging problem and I think it could be solved by liquid electrode batteries. With a liquid electrode, charging and recharging would simply be a case of draining the spent electrode at the charging station for recycling and pumping in fresh stock.
All of that could be done in a few seconds plus it gives drivers the same feel as pumping gas.
Recycling may not be the most appropriate term for re energizing the electrode because it only entails applying electricity to change the nature of the electrode to the state where it can discharge again.
