Does anyone know Tesla's philosophy on seat ergonomics particularly lumbar support? Should we expect decent ergonomics and lumbar support on all seats in the Model S including the standard driver's seat or just on the upgraded 12-way adjustable driver's seat? I've been in many cars where seat ergonomics, especially lumbar support, are notably overlooked.
Are seat design and posture comfort something that luxury car manufacturers in general pay much attention to? How do the seats feel in the betas? What kind of seating ergonomics should we anticipate in the production Model S? How does seat design contribute to rear seat headroom?
