Performance Degradation?

Performance Degradation?

When I sold my 2007 A4 3.2 with ~100k miles it was a shell of its former self. ICE cars get slower as they age.
What about Teslas?

Anybody with a high mileage S or X want to weigh in? Has anyone checked to see if our cars will get slower as they age?

If you haven't already, you may want to post this in General or in S and X to get some good feedback as well!

When I bought my P85D in 2015 it was 0-60 in 3.2's now a P90D 2.7 seconds
My wife's Stealth performance 3 was 0-60 in 3.2's now 3.1

Love it. Thanks ST70.

After 2 years and 18k miles my Butt Dyno tells me my M3 is as fast or faster.....But I don't own a Dragy.

@Mike Up North, Lately my PD3 feels significantly faster. I don’t know if it’s because I don’t floor it nearly as much as in the beginning, but it definitely seems to have sped up.

My 2014 Model S now has just short of 180,000 miles and I can report that you wouldn't know it. Sure, the body/suspension may not be as tight as it was when new, but from a performance stand point, it still takes off like a rocket, if you want to.

IIRC, Brooks from DragTimes did a test on this with a high mileage S; check their YT channel.
