Said goodbye to the Audi TT today.

Said goodbye to the Audi TT today.

A sad day. 12 years of fun in that car. Took two months to sell on craigslist, but we got our price by
waiting patiently.

Here's to 12 years or so of fun in the Model S :)

I sold my A4 (license plate A4) Friday - had that car since 1999.

Good car, but lots of things needed fixing in the last 5 years, most of which don't exist in the S.

I usually keep my cars 10-15 years, so I'm planning on getting good usage out of my S.

It is a small sadness in ICE society but a huge joy in EV world.-:)

We are putting our volvo c70 convertable on the market this week, and my explorer two weeks after. Told my wife we were getting rid of all the oil, oilchange kits, filters, antifreeze, starting fluid, etc. She said waaaah? Thought for a moment, and said, ah yeah….

I feel like im kicking a smack habit. Last ice I will own.

Sold my TT last month. I had 13 years on her. Sad to let go but loving my Model S P85

Sold my Subaru last month. I was so glad! I had my share of troubles with the key fob (alarm would go off because buttons pressed too easily in my pocket). But at least it wasn't a 'zombie car' like the newer Subarus. I read an article that they are recalling a bunch of them because the fob can get damaged and randomly start the car at any time. I sincerely hope nobody dies from carbon monoxide poisoning because someone's ICE car started itself by accident in an enclosed space.

EcLectric - What Subaru did you have?

I've got an '05 Legacy GT Wagon bought new in '04. I love it, but am looking forward to an X or an S. I'm pretty committed to my next vehicle being electric and have high hopes it's a Tesla!

I had a 2005 STi. My brother has a Legacy and loves it too. The Model S will spoil you. It makes driving even the smoothest ICE car seem like a shopping cart driven by a lawn mower engine. With the Model S, you get quiet, consistent torque from 0 mph on up. I have not driven into a gas station in 2013. I do not miss it a bit. I just plug in every night, and never have to plan that extra time on the way to work or back to stop and fill up. I live in CA and I get to work and back in about half the time because I can go in the HOV lane.
