As stated in the video, unless the accompanying hardware is in place, it wont be as simple as doing a software update.
I'd be happy just to have access to that little toggle in the video that says "limit speed" :)

I wonder what might be "right under our nose"?
I am interested in the " Right hand drive" option!!! Now if that could be ticked at present I could realistically hope to see my car....
Just because you see that there doesn't mean that it will ever be available for the Model S.
Maybe at some point in the past they had planned to include these features in the car and in the end, for various reasons decided not to.
Also, it would also make sense if this software is written as a platform that will be used in multiple future vehicles as well.
