I'm looking for the TPMS sensors reference for my model s 2014
Carid.com ask me this reference for my news wheels..
somebody to help me?
I don't remember seeing a reference for this. I just ordered a set from Tesla.
433 Mhz. You can use www.Volkerize.com to find more information on aftermarket wheels.
You can also order directly from Tesla.
Bao Long 433Mhz from TireRack.com work just fine.
These appear to be the same ones:
I have found a good source.
This is where we purchased ours.
We just got our S and installed winter wheel without tpms. I have a good quality tire pressure guage. I think it is good practice to check pressure manually on a regular basis. For your information there is no alert about it on any of the car display.
I tried going without sensors on some new wheels.
I am getting 3 different alerts on two different displays.
I have now just ordered a set of sensors from Tirerack. $388 shipped.
Note, they do not show up if you search for TPMSs. To find them, search for some wheels for your car, then click any of the "View Important TMPS Info" links on any of wheels that come up. Add to cart.
The TPMS on Amazon are $107 each. I bought 4 from a SC for $200.
The TPMS sensor has changed--make sure you get one that works with the updated system.
Tesla SC sells them for $50 each.
So, I contacted Tesla and finally was connected to my local Service Center and they are $50 each.
The MS has the software to allow you to set the TMPS sensors yourself
