my nissan leaf lease is up may 31st 2015. if i want the 85d june first what date should i order? feb first, march first?
jt can you narrow it down to a year at least? lol
You can order any time between now March 2015 and tell them you would like June 1 delivery. My experience has been that it's not a problem to delay delivery, but they say it is more difficult shifting delivery time ahead.
kenny i just would hate to get locked in now and then in a few months have the upgraded seats offered on all "D" models. kinda like ppl that paid for the parcel shelf.
acegreat1 - Technically they don't have to allow it, but you can change your order pretty much until just before it goes into production. They really try to work with you to get you what you want. If there is a price increase between your initial and change in order, however, you'll have to pay the new price.
I'm in a similar boat an ordered the morning after the D announcement. Is a $200 lease payment going to stop you from getting your Tesla early? :)
Plus - I asked on the Leaf forum and people say Nissan is usually easy to deal with on ending a lease a little bit early. You may pay an extra month, or not, from what I was told.
NoMoDinos is correct. I placed my deposit on July 16, 2013. I went through 4 sets of upgrades before I finalized my order in July of 2014. Each time all I had to do was contact Tesla and tell them that I wanted to change my reservation. Each time was never a problem. If there is a price change, you do get put into the new pricing structure if you want the latest changes. Otherwise you are price protected if you leave your order "as-is".
Yeah, my order sat with 2013 pricing until October 10, 8:01 AM :)
The web page for ordering always runs faster before 10 am EDT. Thats the best time.

February 27, 2015 08:15 EST.
Best time is 2 weeks ago. Second best time is today.
I ordered and selected APril 2015 for delivery. When confirmed, it became Feb on the web site. I'm working with the sales mgr at my local store to get this corrected...
When the steel impact supports in your existing MS have rusted to the point of uselessness. :)
