Will Model S ever offer Blindspot Detection, Parking Sensors?

Sorry everyone, I could not find a 'search' button on this forum, so if this is an old topic, I apologize.

I really want to buy a Model S, but I feel that for $95K, it should come with Blindspot Detection and Parking Sensors. My wifes' $40K Mazda CX-9 has these features and she and I both have become use to them. My current BMW has them as well.

My parking garage at work is very tight and poorly laid out (it's actually 2 blocks from the Tesla DC sales office) and the parking sensors have saved the bumper on my BMW more than a few times. I really don't want to get a new car without them, AND NO I do not want some monkey shop drilling holes in my new $95K car to add some Chinese made after-market system.

So, is Elon planning on offering these two very nice features to the Model S anytime soon?

Thanks and flame suit on.

The only problem I have with all these sensors, is the fact that they can make people complacent and dependent on them. Makes people lazy and less aware IMO.

I am currently living in Maryland and about 30% of people actually use their turn signal, and that has been in a car for a hell of a lot longer. There is a much larger percentage of bad drivers in this country from my experience, although I have only been driving for 15 years...

My last post sounded snarky, I apologize. I hadn't yet had my 2nd cup of coffee.

I don't think any of us should be allowed to post prior to our second cup. There are definitely some take-backs for me out there...

@AR
I think Geraldo might be interested in this gig.

Let's move "ability to edit forum posts" up to number one on the prioritized software thread. We'd all be better off.

@TimInNova Have you looked at these guys? They have installed them on a couple cars and these Aftermarket Blind Spot Monitors work really well! I ordered a set from them last week just waiting on installation at my local car audio shop! These seem to be the best on the market and they have installed them on a lot of high end cars!

What is the approx cost, including installation?

There is no blind spot if you adjust your mirrors correctly. It's amazing how many people don't know how to do this.
