Windshield grime/fogginess/filmy

Any other Model S owners having trouble with their front windshield getting a dirty film on it? After only a few days of owning it, we've noticed a film on the inside of the front windshield. Same thing happened on our Roadster...

Any advice on how to clean it? Don't want to go at it with Windex if someone has already tried that unsuccessfully.

I think that film is off gassing from plastic components. Happens in many new cars.

a microfiber cloth will do.
There's a separate thread on this forum about windshield fogging.

Side effect of the Tesla grin.

There are likeky a lot of glues and volatiles still outgassing as was mentioned. These cars are being assembled lightning fast. Do your lungs and brain a favor and keep the windows cracked for a month or two.
