Slacker radio basic not supported?

Slacker radio basic not supported?

Sorry if this topic has already been discussed.

I recently signed up for slacker basic and signed in to that account on the MS. Everything was fine since I had a few stations marked as favorite, so I was able to still listen to those and switch between them. However, just now I went to browse slacker and I got a message saying that Slacker radio basic is not supported. That caught me by surprise.

Maybe this was outlined in the owners manual and I haven't gotten to that part yet, but I had no idea. I guess the account that I was signed in with before was not a basic account, so that's why I was able to browse and get the full experience.

So my question is, am I out of luck now and I have to upgrade to slacker plus or premium? Is there any way I can get the info for the account I was already signed in with when I got delivery of my car?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are other threads about this, and from my recollection you can't use slacker plus or premium in the car audio system either -- if you want to use those, you will need to use it on your phone and stream over bluetooth.

I just want to get back to what I had before...but I don't know what account tesla had me signed in as. Completely my fault for signing out. I guess I'll call the local service center to see if they can help.

While in Park, try resetting your touch screen by holding both thumb wheels down on the steering wheel. I had entered a basic account when there was NO default account. After I did the screen reset, magically a working Tesla account appeared. This was with an earlier version of software, so I don't know if it will work for you.

If that technique fails, then give Tesla Motors a call.
