USB use with iPad for sentry mode

Has anyone successfully used an IPad as the retrieval source for sentry and dashcam video?

There are USB’s with lightning connectors that might work — I’m going to try one of those in the near future. From the reviews I’ve read, the Apple USB to lightning adapter doesn’t work well or at all with Tesla dashcam recordings.

Thanks, I’m finding discouraging info also. I might try Tesla service before I give up.

Here's another option I found on YouTube: https://youtu.be/T9ywKebwnJ0

That one also uses a USB adapter with an SD card rather than a regular USB drive, claiming that the SD card is more robust than a USB drive. Don't know if that's true.

Thanks everyone, I will check it out.
