Will there be anything special for college students in the future? I'm not expecting it now because Tesla is still developing. I was just curious, and a few of the major auto companies give to students.
When I say give, I don't mean the just give you the car. I know that they do give reduced rates for loans.
The loan rates for Tesla are quite low (from what I have seen). Since there is no demand issue, there is no need to increase demand by offering discounts to anyone. Keep in mind that Elon has said multiple times that nobody gets a discount on a new car. Everyone pays the same for the same car. I actually like that because I dislike when someone who is in a special class gets a discount simply for being who they are.
@qunalica is spam - flag it.
College students are already running up massive debt to pay their tuition, they don't need to be adding debt for a relatively expensive car. Save that for when they have a job that first pays them enough to service the college loans.
I am also expecting something for college student program or something. Hope the do something about it.
You have just reawakened a necro-spam thread. Kill it with flaggy fire!
We should help everyone get into EVs and perhaps we should think about increased subsidies for cheaper EVs for college students. It is far easier to convince college students to address environmental concerns than some of the old farts on these fora who don’t care about the environment and are unlikely to change their ideas and philosophies.
I love these cars so much, looks very beautiful, more safety for ecology. Students nowadays care for it more than you can imagine. While we have read https://freebooksummary.com/the-yellow-wallpaper-by-charlotte-perkins-gi... for our lesson at college, it could open eyes. So I hope that in our close future we will ride the Tesla car while reading The yellow wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, thank you guys!
I think, collaboration of Tesla with colleges will let students get successful career with Tesla and work on improvements and developing technical expertise with hands-on labs and self-paced learning. Humanity needs breakthrough in technology.
If you're looking for something "special" from Tesla college students are welcome to apply for a job just as are high school seniors given that they're part of the perfect age demographic:
