"Sentry mode has turned off due to sentry system error." after 12.5

Hello People,

I received this notification on my Android phone today after updating to 12.5 yesterday. First time receiving this notification, and I did not see any posts about this in the Model 3 forum. Several hours earlier this morning I deleted some sentry events using the new dashcam viewer in the car. It has been parked since then in my underground parking.

I toggled it back on in the app about an hour ago and no issues since. I did level 1 and level 2 resets after the 12.5 update yesterday.

Not new - has sprung up once in a while, particularly after the underlying arrival of V10. Can be brought about by fs debasement coming from the vehicle neglecting to get off the drive before cutting force and by ap PC smashing.

I am getting this error every day now. I have never seen it before 12.5.

I am getting it at least twice every 24 hrs, and also never saw it before 12.5.

OP here. I'm not getting this notification on my phone since about April 16th. I did not make any changes. Still on 12.5. However, now my car powers down even if Sentry mode is enabled. Because there is no drain on the battery while parked overnight, I assume Sentry mode is not actively monitoring my car.

Mobile service came out on Friday April 24th and did a level 3 reset (unplugged both batteries), but it did not resolve the issue. The technician said this issue is known, but is only happening on a small number of vehicles. He said this should be fixed in the next SW update.

I started getting this warning ever since upgrading 12.5. I'd say that every time I leave my car out overnight, I wake up to this warning on my phone in the morning.

Around the 12.5 upgrade time, I changed out my Sentry/DashCam flash drive to something "better". 64gb Sandisk High Endurance SD card (recommended in another post). So both happened at the same time -- so not sure if its a software or an SD card issue?

I had the same issue. It would turn off overnight. It would also record a 10 min video right before it shut off. Detected headlights of my neighbors car behind me . No moment on the side of the car.
It’s not a problem with your usb . Just a bug on 12.5 version. I recently got the update for 12.10. Fixed the sentry mode error .

Yes new issue for me as well after the update.
