I just pulled the trigger on a Model 3 reservation today and was wondering if the US West Coast orders will be fulfilled first (perhaps mid-late 2018) before other parts of the world?
West Coast USA is prioritised only within the first global production cycle. We don't how big that first cycle will be. Could be 100k cars, could be 200k.
After that first cycle is done, it is anyone's guess as to how Tesla will prioritise orders. They might run another cycle in the same way, or they might not.
If you reserve today you will not be in the first delivery cycle, approx 400k people are ahead of you.
Tesla did NOT say that west coast buyers will get their cars first. They said that the first cars would go to west coast buyers. Huge difference.
Thank you kindly.
