Austin Business Journal Poll shows that 86 percent favor direct-to-consumer sales of electric cars
Just wondering if taking the fight to federal level will be necessary or will there be any states welcoming the vehicle that asks for gallons of light!
Evidently in Texas there are no regulations about putting a gazillion tons of explosive fertilizer next to an elementary school and nursing home, but try to sell a car without a dealership and you are in a world of hurt.
From what I understand, Austin's personality and culture is very different from Texas'.
I don't know if this is urban legend, generalizations or both.
Aha, but where do politicians and their cronies sit on that poll? In the 14% minority of course -.-
I live in Texas and I will confirm what Captain_Zap stated above. Austin and Dallas are the two most progressive cities in the state---a state that I love in some ways and loathe in others.
