I was wondering if there have been any statements that would lead the forum believe that a battery upgrade would be possible through Tesla dealers after initial manufacture. The reason I ask because it is foreseeable that a person's driving habits could change over time. While the 160m range may be acceptable initially, either a job change or residence move could cause one to need a bit more range.
This assumes that the different ranges actually take different physical battery spaces (Small, Medium, Large) so that there would be room for the upgrade I refer to. If this isn't the case then an addition doesn't make sense since one would need to do a swap for a extended range battery.
Sorry if this has been posted before - I searched via google but didn't find something.
Thanks for chiming in,
