Software/Mobile App Suggestions

My first suggestion/idea is that I have been wondering if Google Maps and Tesla have access to posted speed limits to display on screen as part of the Navigation?

Secondly, I have always wondered by there is not a limit on the mobile app to how many downloads are available. My husband and I both have the app installed on our phones for his Model S, but shouldn't the owner have the right to Grant Permission for each subsequent mobile app download after the initial pairing?

Looking forward to Tesla's response, or maybe a future software upgrade? :)

an app suggestion: create a multi-instance android-envirionment app that would allow an instance of driver apps such as Uber Driver, or Lyft, and other entrepreneurial related apps such as instacart to live in a window about the map app. This would allow the entrepreneur to see various job instances and have the Tesla computer system help to sort them out to the most optimum acceptances to increase overall productivity based on distance to retrieval and delivery based on location.

"but shouldn't the owner have the right to Grant Permission for each subsequent mobile app download "

What? What does that mean?

@andrea.paap - “Secondly, I have always wondered by there is not a limit on the mobile app to how many downloads are available. The owner already has the ability to limit access via the mobile app. They do that by not sharing their login credentials with other people. Downloading the mobile app does nothing for anyone regarding access without your login credentials.

@eon2010 - I see absolutely no reason why I would want Tesla to invest any resources or effort into creating an app that runs within the car to help someone optimize their business opportunities with ride sharing services. I’d much prefer that Tesla focus the efforts of their finite software engineers on improved driver assistance and safety features which benefit all owners, not just a small subset which have purchased their vehicle for commercial reasons.

I would like it if there were an optional alert available in the Tesla app that would show up when the car is started. That way I could tell if one of my kids was on the way home.
