The Bluetooth connectivity on my M3 works great. I have it paired with multiple Android phones and it works reliably and the priority is predictable.
But... there are some rather backward devices out there. Specifically the Kindle devices lack the ability to put themselves into pairing mode (they have more fundamental problems with Bluetooth as well, but that's another topic).
I would like to put the Tesla in pairing mode as if it's a Bluetooth speaker (or headphones), so that I can complete the pairing from the device. I am able to do this in other cars such as my 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid.
It should not be necessary to have this type of accommodation nowadays but the latest model of Kindle devices seem to be more stripped-down in features.
Nothing is simple with Bluetooth but this would be a useful feature to see added to the Tesla bluetooth connectivity stack.
