Charging range reduced with latest update

Charging range reduced with latest update

After the most recent software update, the range for my preset ‘daily driving’ dropped off from 200 miles to 177 miles. I have charged the car 3 times since this update, and each time it stops at 177. Anyone else notice a change?? I drive 100 miles each day, so the the 23 mile drop matters to me.
Thanks for any feedback. (2013 Model S with 33,000 miles)

“Latest update” is ambiguous. Which version?

after my update to 2019.32.12.3 . my 17 MS75 only charges to 197miles at 90%.. used to be 207 miles at 90%. I hear the same from other tesla owners.. lost of miles after update...

2014 S85. No perceptible change in battery capacity since I updated to 2019.32.12.3

Why didn't you post what battery your car has? Miles means nothing without knowing the battery size!

@jnguyen1976 - So just to clarify

1. Your 90% max rated range charge immediately before installing 32.12.3 was 207?

and

2. You completed the exact same rated range charge cycle and the BMS displayed 197?

And this occurred on your 17 RWD S75? Do you have any Supercharging rate max restrictions on the pack yet?

Correct

Yup and at the same SC the next day. I have a long commute.

No restrictions charges the same rate. I’m at the supercharger every night or the morning after to charge before my commute

Software update: 2019.32.12.3 Model S 60.
My point was that on the ‘daily driving’ set limit, the car would charge to 200 miles. Now it stops at 177 miles. Trying to find out if anyone else has this issue, and or, if there is a fix for it. Thanks

Sounds like a rated/ideal toggle problem. That car barely was rated at 200 miles anyway on a full charge. It certainly would never have a rated range of 200 at 90% at this point. Check the display units and ensure you are on rated and compare that to ideal.

TSLC +1.

Troyhobbs, you don't say which "60" you have. The original S60 had a fully range of 208 miles and I can guarantee you that the full range on an original S60 is less than 208 by now.

TSLC :
2013 Model S60 P03652. The car has a ‘trip’ range, fully charged, of 230 miles. The ‘Daily Driving’ setting I use for ‘daily driving’ has a 200 mile range. As I said in my 1st post, immediately AFTER the latest update (2019.32.12.3) the daily driving range DROPPED to 177 miles. I haven’t changed any settings.

IDEAL or RATED?
