In the 90 minutes I was lined up in Sydney, I estimate there were 50 people ahead of me, and about another 50 joining during my wait, reservation, and perusal of the shop. I reckon that store did 150-200 reservations today easy. Add in the Melbourne and Brisbane stores, and we are looking at 500 in the first day in Australia. And the interesting thing about that number is that it would roughly equal the total number of Nissan Leafs sold in the entire country in 3 years. And I'm a Leaf driver and a big fan of it, but what we are witnessing here is something else entirely. This is the beginning of the end of the Internal Combustion Engine, and I was there to witness it.

Considerably more than 10 people in Zürich, Switzerland!
Hope there's a bathroom nearby.
Er, I mean, isn't that lovely.
Already Thursday afternoon in Australia, so Tesla store open?
It would be, closes in 2 hours
Does anyone know how fast the line moved?
