Just passing time, interesting to see what cars people are repacing for the model x. For me it will either be a 2003 Honda oddessy or a 2013 Infiniti JX35.
2001 1.6 golf IV
Traded in a 2012 Odyssey for a Model S Demo to use while waiting for the X
2007 Audi Q7...
2001 Acura MDX. Its going to my daughter in exchange for mid 90's pickup truck I can use to rat around in.
2008 Audi RS4 convertible. gonna miss the ragtop, but not the 13 mpg...
2006 F150 FX4. While it has been handy to have a truck, I am pretty sure I would like the Model X much better. In the interim, my truck is adorned with my Model X license plate.
2004 Nissan Quest
sold my 2012 Audi Q5 to have a nice down payment for the X. Driving a beat up 2006 Corolla right now.
Nothing...adding to stable. Will put 2004 Tahoe on the back bench for emergency backup.
2010 Traverse. My wife wouldn't let me upgrade my 2013 P85 to the D so I am going to just have to borrow her X more to enjoy all the new autopilot features and dual motor etc...!!
The lease on my 2013 Honda Fit EV will end in June 2016. Hopefully my MX will be here before then.
2005 jeep grand Cherokee with 260000 miles.good vehicle. I expect the tesla to do even better.
2014 Honda Odyssey, since my wife is tired of driving a minivan (2001 Chrysler minivan before the Odyssey).
2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited.
2013 Nissan Murano SL
Looking forward to see the MX in my garage
2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagon here.
A dodge charger SRT8 modify performance 2006 and a Chevrolet suburban LT 2007
Lexus RX350 coming off lease
2010 Porsche Cayman s
I have twin boys now.
1998 Ford F150. :) I win.
Leasing a Jetta as commuter to bridge the gap after the demise of the old CR-V
2009 Toyota RAV4
I will be replacing my 2009 Q7 diesel, but not right away, since my wife still has "range anxiety" and want's to get the feel of the X!, and she really loves the Audi, in fact if she could, she would take a Q7 with the drive train of the Tesla, she is not crazy of the X style she has seen at this point.
I thought I would win, but Vandacca has beaten me out, I will be replacing my 2003 Cadillac Escalade EXT. Good old buggy, but like all ICE's, guzzles too much petro.
2011 Honda Odyssey. We love the Odyssey, but we want the X more.
1996 Lexus SC400. Loved that car. Gave it to my grandson and am driving girlfriend's RX until my X is ready.
2006 Hummer H2, will have ~140K miles when I get my MX.
2006 lexus rx400h.
2002 saab 9-3. It's barely holding on just long enough for the Model X to come out ...
2006 Honda Odyssey with 150k miles. Lets hope Tesla does a better job with cup holders on Model X compared to Model S. Don't want my kids to make a mess. :)
2006 HiHy running a 44K mile engine (original engine choked on sludge at about 164K miles).
However, I'm tempted to consider a pre-owned P85D if MX is delayed again.
1992 GMC TYPHOON "Toy Truck"
2001 Chrysler Town & Country (currently at 1435,000). Really good car, especially for hauling stuff. I gave my 2002 Infinity QX4 to my daughter-in-law last year as I expected the MX to be here earlier this year! Living with one car has been a bit tough. Hope my reservation (~5,300) comes in soon as the minivan is really costing me money for repairs, etc.
2006 must have been a good year...
1993 Crown Victoria
It will be replacing both a 2013 Ford C-Max Energi (daily driver--lease will be up in early 2016) and 2003 Chrysler Town & Country that I have specifically for hauling around sound gear occasionally.
Used 2001 Ford Taurus wagon that I bought to tide me over. Gave my daughter my Subaru for the Vermont winters. The x will be a bit of an improvement.
2002 Chrysler T&C, probably the most trouble free car I have ever had. Looking forward to more ease for transport of a three year old. Also modern safety features such as backup camera and other proximity sensors.
2004 Toyota Corolla CE. I CANT WAIT!
Oooh, a Typhoon? I remember really wanting one of those when they first came out. Ha! ;-)
chevrolet cruze 2013
2012 Tesla Model S 85
2008 Saab 9-3 Wagon AWD.
I'm curious how everyone is planning on replacing them, craigslist, ebay, big dealer, small used car lot, something else?
Audi Q5 - lease coming to an end spring 2016
We sold my wife's 2002 Cadillac EXT before the last announced delay. Tried one car for a while and caved in and bought a used 2013 Mercedes GLK 350 to use until the MX arrives - hoping for very little further depreciation. My wife loved the EXT seats and height - she is anxious about the drive height of the MX since we live in Southern Cal and every other car on the road is either a SUV or Truck that you can't see around.
@tycharley if you are interested in selling your Typhoon let me know.
