My first thought was rut roh, but then reading tweets it appears Mr. Carroll is impressed with the customer service and response. He clear acknowledges there is a learning curve with this new technology, but doesn't appear to be a deal breaker. that's was a relief to see after the initial storyline.

I wasn't interested about that link before I saw your mention about Darwin Award material.

Several of the comments are kind of moronic in that page, they don't understand that cable lock is really a lock, and not just latch to secure cable to place. It is meant to be impossible to remove until lock is released. Kind of situation where your front door lock would for some reason refuse to accept your key, it should not just open with a slight yank.
