Who is your favorite third party mud flaps?

Who is your favorite third party mud flaps?

95% - 99% of third party mud flaps look alike so I don't know which brand is best. I saw several videos about installing mud flaps and it looks so easy. There are so many different brands.

So which brand mud flaps is your favorite.

Thanks,
Peter

I am also interested in this, I have been looking a few on Amazon but have not decided which ones yet

I bought the Basenor flaps (matte black ones and also pearl white ones as I cant decide what ones I'll put on my pearl white car yet!) and they seem pretty good but time will tell. $40 on Amazon.

These were inexpensive, easy to install and look good.

I like WeatherTech products and they may make mud flaps for Model 3. I signed up for notification when their mud flaps become available.

I got the Taptes.com molded mud flaps after first purchasing some floppy ones. I think the Basenor ones are what Tesla uses. I suspect they all come from the same factory in China and are just rebranded.

Haven't installed yet so can't speak to quality but they were recommended with some install pics by owners previously.

Anyone have the Tesla flaps? Curious if they are similar size and configuration to most common 3rd party flaps.

I'd like the free ones going to Canadians. Where I live there are 10 gravel pits within a 10 mile radius. :) haha.

RPM TESLA has nice ones that are easy to install.

@andrewsjra : That looks good. It looks like no screws required for front flaps. Will wait for their new installation video. The current video uses screws for 1st generation front flaps.

Thanks,
Peter

@Pnagy, the updated video is available on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/dbEf1TsO4P0

@andrewsjra: Thanks for the video. If you have 2nd generation mud flaps, do you feel the front flaps are firmly mounted as compared to 1st generation with screws?

Thanks,
Peter

I don’t have them. Contemplating on them though

pnagy | 7 gennaio 2020

The screws could be added for additonal strength if they would help.

I have the RPMTesla Gen 1 and they look and fit like an OEM. The Gen 2's dont look much different except for the mounting tab that replaces the screw.
