£ Stirling price.

So it's $1000 to pre-order in The States, but £1000 in the UK. What's the purchase price in the UK? If it's $35,000 then I'm hoping it will be £25,000 at most. Anyone know?

There's very little chance of it being under £25k. £30k is probably more like it. Though if you apply the same $->£ ratio as Tesla use on the Model S, it works out at £27k. Bare in mind there will be no Plug-in car grant available by the time the Model 3 is released in the UK.

I don't think there's any chance it'll be £25k. $35k is about £25k, and then you need to add on VAT, which brings it to £30k. I'm working on the assumption that tell start at £35k.

An article at the BBC website seemed to indicate they expect the amounts paid would be in US currency.

did anyone pay their reservation fee on amex ? mine statement shows $1000 and the equivalent in GBP rate, not £1000

Fairly sure Elon stated at a UK meeting that it would be £30,000.
