Maintenance Schedule

Maintenance Schedule

It is currently illegal for Tesla to sell in my home state, due to laws that prohibit manufacturers to sell directly to the public. The closest Tesla dealer is 4 hrs away. Is anyone familiar with the maintnenance schedule of a typical electric vehicle?

Just once a year but some people skip it.

You could get your tires rotated at a tire place. No smog checks or oil changes. Beautiful.

Current vehicles it's once a year or every 12,500 miles whichever comes first. You also can come in at 6,250 miles to have your tires rotated (included in your inspection cost) but you could have that done elsewhere. Annual inspections (include tire rotations, software updates, brake fluid flushes, wheel alignments) are not required for your warranty. I would never miss one, but there's no hard commitment to do them on a set schedule.

That'll depend on both the car's quirks (if there are any) and your tolerance.

With the S, our handles have had problems. (The 3 won't have that handle.)
When it just wasn't popping out, we decided not to rush to the service center (40 minutes away) because we could live with it until the next time we had a better reason to go to service.
