I apologize in advance if this topic has been covered here- it would be nice if there was a way to search the forum- unless I'm missing something.
The lack of interior lighting in this car makes nighttime driving a little silly if you actually have to find anything. Almost makes me think that no Tesla engineer drove this car at night! The only real storage, the center console, is pitch black as are the foot-wells. (Don't dare drop anything!) All real lighting is behind the driver and must be turned on blindly (why no switch?) when driving-and doesn't light these areas anyway. With almost nothing overhead why not put some LEDs in the bottom of the rear-view-mirror or the midline strip or small lights inside the bins/foot-wells? This seems like a no brainer. The only after-market products I've found involve taking existing lighting and making it brighter. I guess I can tap into the power to the 12v cigarette-lighter to run some LEDs myself but...really? Any other suggestions?
