The Taycan is clearly not aimed at EV buyers, it's aimed at Ferrari and Lamborghini buyers. It's 3X the price of a Model 3 and 2X the price of a Model S so only people who are looking for an exclusive Veblen good are going to look at it. Another clear indicator that it's target market isn't EV buyers, they put Turbo into the name, its the Porsche Taycan Turbo. What's up with that, why would you put Turbo into the name of an EV?
