BMW i4 (523 HP) ...

Well, all the talk can’t be just about the Mach-E, right? The latest on the i4 from Car and Driver.

Disclaimer: I’m not at all interested in it, only the exponential growth of EV’s and alternatives.

Well... it can’t look worse than an i3.

Top pic looks kind of like a disguised Pinto.

Wonder if it will explode it generally tapped in the rear? Remember that?

I do, though I saw one on the road while traveling last year.

I like the caught-in-a-net paint job. Otherwise, not a chance.

A few years ago I was looking at the i8. I asked the salesman at the dealership what the service requirements for the car would be. His response was "well no one actually drives the car, its only for show". What! No one drives the car?? What a way to shot yourself in the foot! Idiot.

Needless to say, if the answer had been different I might have purchased one. Thankfully that did not happen. I wouldn't touch a BMW with a ten foot pole due to my experiences with service on my x3.

Specs sound decent. Still a bit of a ways off so we’ll see if they hold up in production. Not sure about the styling. Looks better than the i3 (most things do) but still has an odd “chunky” design to it I don’t like. Not sure why some EVs are made to look look weird in retaining their brand design/template.

Competitive specs. Whats the cost?
We will see if they actually deliver. If so, good for them
