Love to text while driving? Autopilot was made for you.

So, I realized why the Tesla Auto Pilot tech is so important for the present and future of personal transportation. Ever since texting became a bad habit that could be potentially fatal while operating a vehicle, I've always wondered what will make it safer to do so. Avoiding the habit is virtually impossible from time to time. Laws prohibiting the habit only makes it a challenge for most. Then comes Tesla's Auto Pilot tech. It's practically the perfect tech for texting/social net addicts.

See that person in that Auto Pilot equipped car mindlessly glued to his/her phone reading and typing away a paragraph of their up to the minute life update posting? Well, don't worry too much about him/her because the car is doing an exceptional job staying in the lane and maneuvering the surrounding traffic. So go ahead, type away and check that new facetweeinstagrapchat you just can't wait to see every second of the day. Why not eat a sub sandwich with one hand and a coffee cup in the other while you're at it? Need to apply makeup or catch up on some paperwork? Sure! Tesla Auto Pilot is your driver and your commute is now safer than it's ever been.

We can see the potential in the need for Auto pilot. The ever increasing digital social interactions we make in our daily personal commutes already demands it's implementation. I'm hoping that in 10 years my dreaded next 150-500 mile annual family reunion road trip will just be a 2-8 hour nap away. Or at least I won't need to spend the trip worrying about the road and traffic the whole time. Maybe it's just me.
