Old Timers' Software

Old Timers' Software

Even though my head says I'm 35, my body says 68, and I have a suggestion for TM. How about an alternative software for old-timers? You know, those of us with diminished eyesight, concentration, etc.

Here are my suggestions for it:

3. Big Buttons on the DRIVERS SIDE of that huge screen.
4. Big Buttons (such as the zoom in/out etc. on the NAV screen.)

The screen is big; why not use it? Hunting and pecking those tiny NAV buttons or making a call while driving is dangerous! Right now the software is designed like laptop software;TM needs to get out of that box.

I grew out of my "car phase" after high school. Tesla has me back in it. What a car!

A selectable "big button mode" seems like a reasonable request, particularly since a relative high number of owners will be past their "eagle-eyes" days, considering that it often takes having been around for a while to reach the level of affluence to afford this car. (Note that I refrained from using the "senior" word, since those with the vision to jump into this world, be they 68 or not, defy that term :^)

I too would like bigger text and buttons so that I don't have to wait for my eyes to focus.

"virtual buttons" I should say.

Yea Tesla, how about a "Jitterbug" package!

I have to wait for my eyes to focus AND my finger to stop shaking. However, my role model is Alan Arkin in "Stand Up Guys" (see it if you haven't), so my foot stomps down just fine.

I can't take my eyes off the road for long when traveling at high rates of speed. Big is good.

Most of the buttons are quite big already in my opinion, and the touch targets are well defined. The only one I have a problem with is the Refresh button on the web browser.
