Disability Hand Controls
I would like to purchase a Model S. I need a hand control brake for the vehicle. Does anyone have a contact in Tesla to discuss a couple of technical questions regarding issues installing disability hand controls? I know it has been done. I have had this done on a number of cars including Corvettes, Lexuses, SUVs, etc. without any issues. They all had a contact within their organizations.

1) I will MobilityWorks do the installation locally.
2) They install a left-side hand brake made by MPS and attach it to the steering column.
3) As part of the installation, they will need to install a knee airbag bypass.
4) My MobilityWorks location had bypass done by Tesla Service on a car, 2 years ago, but not since.

Is there someone in Tesla Service who can help? I have tried, sales, and calling the local service center which routed me back to corporate. Neither individual could help me. 4 days ago I emailed support, and no response.

Thank you in advance.

If you’re using MobilityWorks to do the work, why aren’t they getting this information rather than making you do it?
