I understand powder coating is the best, I don't want to spend as much.
I had plasti-dip with gloss coat. After a few months, dirt sits in the rubbery material is they don't look gloss black anymore.
I see a lot of youtube videos but none of them are doing it on top of existing factory paint which the model 3 stock rims are.
I am wondering what the results will be on top of the existing factory paint and which paint would be best to use. I am not taking the car to a roadshow or museum so it does not have to be the absolute best like powder coat. I am just looking for gloss back that will last a few years without chipping.
