Fisker at the Peterson Automotive Museum

Fisker at the Peterson Automotive Museum

I did the Tour de Tesla today where 125 Tesla's had a police escort from the Hawthorn Tesla Design Studio to the Peterson Automotive Museum. Their best collection of cars is in the "Vault". So we did a tour of the vault and there was a Fisker Karma right in the middle of several famous cars. We all got a chuckle out of it. The tour guide didn't know much about it so we educated him on a few of the Fisker's failings. haha Apparently the owner of the car donated it to the museum earlier this year when things for Fisker began to fall apart. It's worth more as a tax deduction than in the garage.

Got pictures I hope...of the Tour de Tesla (not the Fisker)

A museum is the right place for it, as it is history :).

A Fisker Karma right in the middle of the line of 125 Tesla heading to the automobile museum?

Seriously?

Or a funeral heading to a cemetery?

I think the Fisker got lost on the way to the La Brea Tar Pits

Or simply didn't make it all the way there ;-D

The Fisker Karma was donated earlier. It is in the "Vault" of vehicles at the Petersen Automotive Museum. It couldn't have participated in the Tour de Tesla, as only Tesla vehicles were allowed.

One of the Petersen staff commented about the safety of having the vehicle in the museum! A few vehicles are displayed in the parking structure. Perhaps that might be a good alternative for the time being.

Did anyone ask if the contributor of the Karma owns a Tesla?

I met a guy at the Hawthorne supercharger a few weeks back (I think he was from SD or OC but I forget) who was charging his wife's Model S. He loves it, but loves his Fisker more and still uses it as his daily driver. He apparently bought nearly a full car worth of spare parts from the factory and knows a lot of the techs.
