Tesla Q4 2012 Conference Call!

when will it be and where is the link to a stream?
Nothing out yet (

Tomorrow, or?

“Tesla confirmed to IBD late Friday that the company would report Monday morning.”

It's the only place I've seen where Monday 11 was "traced" down to Tesla. The fact that there is no press release and nothing on Tesla's investor's page it's a bit disconcerting.

Thumper | 10. februar 2013

Not comforting to have no official word at all. Come on TM.

Hills | 10. februar 2013

The earnings release date has not been announced. Monday morning may simply be setting the date. While it does seem rather late to not even have a date, the 4Q 2011 results were released on Wed Feb 15, 2012. The 4Q 2010 results wre released on Tue Feb 15, 2011.

Soon we will know.

Hills | 10. februar 2013

FYI, 26m shares are still short. That is >$1 Billion short, and at least 99% of shares short have unrealized loss, since the stock is essentially at all time high.

jbunn | 10. februar 2013

Ah... that was burning shorts I smelled....

L8MDL | 11. februar 2013

TSLA down over 3% this morning ahead of earnings. EPS estimate of minus $0.59/share. WSJ says quarterly report on Feb 14th.

New York Times article being quoted all over the place, much to the delight of the shorts...

gregv64 | 11. februar 2013

Odd, because if you go to the WSJ earnings calendar, they still list Tesla in the "estimated" section, with the estimate from Feb 11th-Feb 18th.

mbcaffe | 11. februar 2013

tm will announce earnings date this week. being down is apparently due to the wsj article.

Whity Whiteman | 11. februar 2013

maybe it will be Friday Feb 15th... still it would be in a usual timeframe plus they got a week longer to get any blockbusternews on track.

News f.e.

Supercharger stations
Higher reservationnumbers
Mercedes B-Class

What a week- and it's just starting with teslas mouth zipped )

TeslaModelSOwner | 11. februar 2013

Tesla should work on communications, both to its customers and investors, most would agree communications are not their strong suit.

L8MDL | 11. februar 2013

Comments, or lack thereof, from Tesla are not helping the stock price. The day traders, however, love the uncertainty.

Electron | 11. februar 2013

Quiet period guys, they just aren't going to comment before earnings. Enjoy the silence.

teslaver | 11. februar 2013

"Sweet is the fruit of patience!".. I guess most Tesla Owners have experienced it already while waiting on their S.

JZ13 | 11. februar 2013

This missing earnings announcement is starting to mirror my delivery window. Supposed to receive my S between 2/2 - 2/16. Still don't have a vin on my iphone app. Not looking like my car will be ready within the delivery window.

riceuguy | 11. februar 2013

Per the second Marketwatch link, they are NOT doing the earnings call this week.

Mr. Musk is getting ready to "school" the NYT:

Brian H | 11. februar 2013

Here are his latest tweets!

Btw, more free East Coast Superchargers coming soon. Will allow lower initial charge, v high speed trip & long detours, like NYTimes drive.
Tesla data logging is only turned on with explicit written permission from customers, but after Top Gear BS, we always keep it on for media.
Tesla blog coming soon detailing what actually happened on Broder's NYTimes "range test". Also lining up other journalists to do same drive.

GoTeslaChicago | 11. februar 2013

"Will allow lower initial charge, v high speed trip & long detours,"

Trying to decode the above. Ideas anyone?

Whity Whiteman | 11. februar 2013
Whity Whiteman | 11. februar 2013

GoTeslaChicago ...I think that menas "more Superchargers"

Whity Whiteman | 11. februar 2013

maybe they bring up the east-west-corridor till the 20th

L8MDL | 11. februar 2013

NYT refutes Tesla's response on CNBC - now we've got a cat fight! Best news - the consumer will win in the end...

Runar | 11. februar 2013

Goteslachicago; he's just making fun of the NYTimes reporter, the reporter didnt charge 100%, drove fast and took detours ;-D

Carl Barlev | 12. februar 2013

With "lower initial charge" he could be pointing to the fact that superchargers will allow you to start a longer trip without necessarily having to wait for a max range charge to complete first.
