Car Cup that Fits

Car Cup that Fits

Does anyone know of a hot/cold coffee cup that fits in the cup holder? My favorite cup is wobbly in the cup holder. Thought I saw a link to a cup sold on Amazon but can no longer find the post. I don't want the Tesla cup and it doesn't look like it would fit either.

Thanks for your help. Wish there was a search option.

We love our Simple Modern 22-oz cups. Coffee stays hot forever. They fit in the front cup holders, though not tightly. We've had no significant wobble problems.

Someone had posted a link to the 20 oz Yeti tumbler a while back. They were about $29. I found one on ebay for a little less, but have not yet received it.

Someone posted that the Tesla Travel Mug fits perfectly

https://shop.tesla.com/us/en/product/apparel/travel-mug_tumbler.html?sku...

It is sold out currently, or I would have ordered one for my wife.

I got a 2 pack of insulated ones at Costco. Contigo brand.

My Red Cross "Cancer Kicker" mug fits perfectly. My 20 year old 20oz Starbucks mug wobbles - but fits well using a koozie (foam sleeve).

I need one that will hold gateraid bottles. Looking at Amazon under car cup holder expander.

LOVE this tumbler. It fits like a glove in the M3 holders almost like it was made for it.

Haha! What would a coffee lover like me do in a Tesla? That's why my VW is better, I can put whatever cup I want to in the cupholder. Although the Starbucks cups bored me :( In a local coffee shop from San Diego they were using some customed coffee cups that I liked a lot. The coffee by itself ads color to the day, a beautiful cup boosts it

bump a post from 2018 to say you would take a VW over a Tesla because it fits your coffee cup better?

Now I have seen it all...

Buy an adjustable cup holder insert. Do a search.

LOL.. Agree especially when for like $15 the problem is easily solved....

Kind of like selling your house for a loss because the new one you are buying has a higher amp garbage disposal... :)

But will they hold your beer?

Water and coffee only for me :)

They hold both of those in various size configurations just fine and for the ones that are to large for the holder inserts, I just take them out and walla... The larger size fits :)

M'a boy with the VW, if you'll be in San Francisco, ask for El Ratto's coffee shop, I just updated the coffee cups with some brand new coffee sleeves from https://hotshotsleeves.com. I might also give you a ride in my Tesla Model 3 so you won't talk dirty about it anymore. I hate the rats that buy European cars.

There is a good coffee mug called Bueno made by Contigo. Stainless, and they fit great I got one from.....who knows where, then I found that Target has them in a shorter model that will fit in a Keurig coffee maker.....if you take out the "oops I forgot the cup" tray. They keep the coffee hot for a while too. I'm sure they'll keep drinks cold too.

If you have a 3D printer you can just print a sleeve to fit regular cups:

It’s matte black 3M but it’s not my work. Mingo at Sun Cap Tint in Houston did it and a fine job on a bunch of other parts of my car too.

The Hydro Flask 20oz Coffee wide mouth fits perfectly:

wifey got the 25oz Hydro Flask. It is a little tall for my liking, but fits nice and snug.

We've got a couple of 32oz Hydroflask "tumblers" that fit perfectly. I don't use them for coffee, but I could -- they'd work fine except you can't close the opening.

Best mug around " https://joeveo.com/ "

My relatively inexpensive Contigo (bought from Costco) fits reasonably. It is a bit loose inside the holder, but not to the point where it would tip over in any way. Even if it did tip, the lid opening is spring-loaded to stay sealed.

I also use a rubber mat insert (for the bottom of the cup holder) that I bought from Amazon - this seems to help with preventing issues with mugs that are small. Spills are easier to clean too.

My old time favorite insulated travel mug which also fits to model 3 cup holder is the Thermos 16 OZ stainless with or without the handle.
