I noticed that the protective covers attached to the front vs back wheel-wells under the fenders are a different material. The front feels more like a plastic and are continues (sealed) while the rear is more of a fiber board and seem to be not well a fixed to the finder lip and have open seams that would allow salt and over road elements to adhere to the inside of the fender (under the covers). If I lived in the snow belt where road salt was used I would be more concerned about fender rust/corrosion (I'm in So Calf).
Has anyone noticed this and/or seen problems with underbody rust/corrosion?
