I have just played on it for a few trips, and for my specific tests, the Model 3 was 2-3% faster. YMMV
The site does not have options for tire sizes (or aero) yet for the Model 3 like they have for the S and X. Surprisingly it does have an option for the Model 3 standard range battery (for which it would have no real-life data.

Hopefully the long-range Model 3 portion of the program has been populated by real data (maybe by You You and others) and is giving reasonable results.

On a similar note, Tesla now has a similar mapping feature on their website (with less functionality and less trip output) - and it yields MUCH longer trips than EVTripPlanner - hopefully this tool is incorrect.
