Having problems to connect to my M3 using the iPhone App

Having problems to connect to my M3 using the iPhone App

The request does not "wake up" my Tesla if I try to connect. It requires me to get to the car and open the door - for example.
This is not pleasant if I want to raise the temperature for example.
Who has similar experiences? Any hint to get around it?
