Tesla Model 3 Delivery Estimate

Tesla Model 3 Delivery Estimate

I'm curious to see what everyone's Delivery Estimate is according to the official Tesla website: https://3.tesla.com/model3/delivery-estimate

I thought I'd get mine earlier in the year, but since i'm in Canada and on the East Coast, i'm wondering if my delivery date is later. Feel free to post your details for comparison.

Here are my details:

Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your perspective, they are prioritizing U.S. deliveries because of the tax credit here, and how it phases out. Current estimates (not official) is that the full $7,500 tax credit will end for Tesla at the end of Q2 2018, where it cuts in half to $3,750 for Q3 and Q4 2018 deliveries and down to $1,875 for Q1 and Q2 2019. My guess is Tesla will only deliver Model 3s in the US while the full credit is in effect, and potentially some duration of the reduced credits to maximize the number of people who are eligible.

In full disclosure, here is my information for comparison:

my bad. I was looking for a thread that might have been started already, and didn't find it. Suffice it to say, it seems like i'm getting the shaft by being outside of the US. I figured that would be the case, but I can't believe that someone who ordered in July 2017, is scheduled to get it before me.

Delivery estimate: late 2018
Reservation made: July 17 2017

I feel bad for the guys who waited in line and get the same estimates as me..... I to just have late 2018 and a link to the S model. It changed yesterday from 3 options all saying late 2018.

They won’t give me my delivery estimate at
https://3.tesla.com/model3/delivery-estimate

Reservation Made: March 31, 2016
Delivery confirmation email: Never received (reservation# received by phone call July 25, 2017)

Employee: No
Location: California, USA

I didn’t create a My Tesla account until April or May 2016. My Tesla page shows me my Solar Roof reservation number, but not my Model 3 Reservation number.

Cool_cro13 - I am one of the guys of probably 500 that stood in line in the rain at the Victoria Park and Lawrence store. According to other posts. People that waited in line at one of the Toronto stores was probably in the 35,000 range that reserved in store. I was floored when I saw my estimate at Late 2018. Even taking the conservative 5000 units a week and not even counting 2017 production. Late 2018 puts us in the 220-240 000 made. Wow, going from 35 000 to 220-240 000 sucks. EM tweeted , loyalty begets loyalty. Hmmm....plunked down $1000 site unseen and relegated to 175-205 000 units behind.
A lot of people here have a Hate on for GM and the Bolt. First Bolt US deliveries late 2016. First Bolt sold in the Toronto area was thru Dean Myers Chev Old, 2nd week of January 2017. Not saying anything about the vehicle, saying that a company that produces well over a million vehicles globally delivered to a market that already has dealerships/stores. Tesla can learn a lot from the legacy car builders. No big deal if I keep or let my reservation go. Tesla has already bumped me 175000+ spots.(The argument that I live in Canada, again, read about the delivery time of the Bolt)

People who want to dispute this, Tesla is selling in a global market. If their plan all along was to sell to the US first, then why did they let all their stores take reserves knowing full well that they only wanted to deliver to their home market the first 200000+ units.

It looks like i am am being included with non-Tesla owners based on others posts since I see those on east coast have earlier timeline.than I have.

Iwantmy3 | 2017年8月3日

It looks like all reservations made in Canada result in the same delivery time frame regardless of the reservation date or configuration. It seems like a bit of a cruel joke on people who lined up to pre-order before the reveal. The excuse about avoiding configuration changes is difficult to accept given that the only changes I can see would be software related (metric vs. imperial). Delivery order should not be all about tax issues in one country.
