They all suck.

SKH90D2016 | 2016年5月10日

I was afraid of that....

rxlawdude | 2016年5月10日

Sorry, it was just such a softball hanging over the plate...

The one at the carwash

damonmath | 2016年5月10日

I use a Dyson Animal DC65 upright with a Flexi Crevice Tool. I'm a super neat freak and try to keep my floor mats looking brand new week after week. Want to try the cordless version, but no real need to buy one at this time.

freeewilly | 2016年5月10日

I'm not a professional auto cleaner, but I think the best way to clean the car interior is oil free air compressor. Ex. http://amzn.com/B000N5UHK0
It's so simple and quick to use to blow all the hard to reach places, when the dust are all over the car, just blow it out. I use Dyson v6 to clean the rest of the fine dust, you will be amazed how clean the interior is after just few quick minutes.

Don't use can dusters, because it will not be enough air to clean the entire car, and it's expensive. Air compressor has endless of free compressed air.

Bissell makes one fro $50.00. It works great for the car but is not a 12v unite. I got it at Home Depot.

jordanrichard | 2016年5月10日

I use a standard shop vac.

gleep6991 | 2016年5月10日

I keep one of these in the car Dyson Cordless Vacuum works great!

KdotB | 2016年5月10日

+1 for the Dyson cordless. I forget which model I have, but it's the cordless handheld and has a few different attachments that make getting the car nice and clean

MSMD | 2016年5月10日

+1 for Dyson cordless vacuum. I have the V6 motorhead and it comes with a small attachment that's perfect for cars. Love the Dyson cordless vacuum!!

MSMD | 2016年5月10日

(The only kind of V6 I want to own now lol)

TaoJones | 2016年5月11日

I leave a Dyson handheld which just stays onboard. It's compact enough, is easy to empty, and holds a charge when not in use for quite awhile. I don't think I have a 12V adapter for it for charging. Something to add to the list.

cdavidhord | 2016年5月12日

Just get a small Rigid shop vac from Home Depot for $40 (http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-3-Gal-Wet-Dry-Vacuum-WD3050/202078667). A number of years ago I bought a $240 "car vacuum" for my last new car. What a waste. The HD vac works great, and you can use it for other stuff (especially wet vacuuming). Don't clutter your car with a wimpy 12v or battery vacuum. A couple of minutes once a week and the car is clean and looks great.

Bonlaw | 2016年5月12日

I have a cheap Black and Decker that plugs into 12v. Gets the job done. It is compact and stays in rear well.

Silver2K | 2016年5月12日

I don't know where I would keep a small dyson v6 trigger, there's no room in the car...

Pack Mule | 2016年5月12日

I have a Black & Decker (PAV1200W) vacuum that plugs into the 12V, has a cord that easily allows it to reach the back, has pretty nice suction, and a couple useful attachments. Works great to keep the seat crevices clean. Maybe not as great as the Dyson's, but I can keep in the car (lives in the frunk) and use it anytime I want. It was under 50 bucks.

SFEVER | 2016年5月12日

+1 for the Dyson cordless

Silver2K | 2016年5月12日

@pack mule

I see it cleans the door pockets good also!
that's a nice vacuum, I may consider it. gotta keep those door pockets clean!

f3rretus | 2016年5月12日

Speaking of vacs. Once when my car was serviced and then when my new one arrived it had the Tesla emblem in the carpeting in the back. Looked awesome. Does anyone know how they do this?

Bonlaw | 2016年5月12日

@SilverP85plus- I think he means there was a Texla emblem vacuumed I to the carpet. Must be a form.

But for great mats with Tesla logo go to Jerry's.

Bonlaw | 2016年5月12日

"Into". And maybe it is Gerry's. Can remember but they look great.

DLebryk | 2016年5月12日

The cordless Dyson V6 is outstanding on the big flat areas - the trunk area, the rear floor, the front floors (the powered beater brushes are outstanding for that). It is horrible in tight spots. The thing is way too big and the tubes are solid, making it hard to maneuver in tight spots. Shop vac is way better.

Buy a refurb V6, and save some money.

Armor 255 is my pick. I found an awesome review here

High Plains Drifter | 2018年4月4日

Wet/Dry vacuum (no specific brand).

jmsemoneyo | 2018年6月19日

I'd go for the Dyson V7 car + boat vacuum. This has got the best overall combination of suction power, battery capacity, weight (lightweight) and attachments for cleaning a car's interior. There's also some other good options out there: https://faveappliances.com/best-car-vacuum-cleaners

Bill_75D | 2018年6月19日

I bought the Dyson V7 Car and Boat at Costco 3 weeks ago for $170.00

TeslaTap.com | 2018年6月19日

Dyson V7 (any version) works great. They are all based off the same design. You can start at Amazon to sort out which one works for you https://amzn.to/2MDt1iw and then buy it where it's the best deal. I got the "V7 Animal" which I now use for home and car. Great at getting up pet hair. Older versions are ok, but less powerful. Main difference is which attachments come in the package. They now have the V10 too, with even more battery power (and more cost).

SKH90D2016 | 2018年6月19日

Mini Shop Vac works great!

kerryglittle | 2018年6月20日

I've heard only good things about the Dyson. I'm lucky enough to have a central vac outlet in my garage where its mounted.

Your car, and especially Tesla could really use car vacuums at https://bestvacuum.reviews/car-vacuums/ to clean their cars. I have 3 kids so it helps me a lot. I hope that it can help you as well.

lilbean | 2018年7月6日

I got the Dyson and it sucks, and not in a good way.

duke_of_alinor | 2018年7月6日

Another Dyson fan, but get the V8, the V6 never finishes the car without recharging.

TeslaTap.com | 2018年7月6日

I also like the Dyson V8 - very good filtering, so dust and odors are not coming back into the car from the vacuum. Most other rechargeable vacuums have minimal filtering, but it may not be a factor to some owners.

avesraggiana | 2018年7月7日

I'm with @lilbean on this one. Dysons suck - dollars out of your pocket. Overpriced and over-rated. Anaemic suction, limited time of usefulness - 7 minutes, flimsy attachments that don't really get the job done.

Shop any other brand, you'll be happier and you'll save money.

lilbean | 2018年7月7日

+1 avesraggiana My ten year old Black and Decker Dustbuster has a stronger suction than the Dyson.

TeslaTap.com | 2018年7月7日

I agree the Dyson's are overpriced, but the newer models work far better (for me) than dustbusters and other's I've had/tried. Lasts about 45 minutes for me, enough do everything I've needed at one time. (maybe 25 minutes on max power, but I rarely need it). I see they now have an even more powerful/longer lasting model (V10) if you need even more power. It sounds like the earlier models were not great, but I never tried them.

barrykmd | 2018年7月7日

I use a shop vac. only outlet available is the 14-50, so I bought a 14-50 to 5-15 adapter and plug it into that (using one side of my 208V is 120V - the miracles of 3 phase and the square root of 3).

freeewilly | 2018年7月7日

Dyson everything

Sailfast | 2018年7月7日

I’ve got 2 shop vacs but I use carwash vacs for cars because they do it better. Note that I would not even consider using a car wash to actually wash my car.

Rutrow 3 | 2018年8月15日

If you've never met AvE, put your kids to bed and your flabbergaster where it can't get triggered, then watch his tool reviews. He rates the Dyson hand held vac. He's no shill.

Surprisingly the Dewalt Cordless / Corded Wet-Dry Vacuum is amazing! The key to making it turbo powered is getting a high Amp Flex Volt Battery however. When I lock in my 9amp Flex Volt Battery it turbo charges the Vacuum LOL. It actually performs at a higher level than being plugged in to the wall outlet.

https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCV581H-20-Volt-Cordless-Wet-Dry/dp/B00DD1...

The Flex Volt Batteries are not cheap by the way-

chancellor32 | 2018年8月15日

Dyson V8 Absolute haha. with the right car attachment!

JPPTM | 2018年8月16日

Costco sometimes sells a Dyson handheld cordless listed as for Auto use (with 12V adapter). But inside the box is also a 120V charging adapter (Costco special package--not listed on the box), so dual use. And all of the attachments. Nice.

sentabo | 2018年8月16日

Another vote for the Dyson.

princemoga383 | 2018年8月17日

I will suggest you this one .. Bissell Lightweight Cordless Hand Vacuum.. I am using it from 2017 and it is amazing...
